Coursera
Offers free courses from a number of universities, including Princeton, Stanford, and Penn. “Watch lectures taught by world-class professors, learn at your own pace, test your knowledge, and reinforce concepts through interactive exercises.”
edX
A joint venture between MIT and Stanford. They award certificates to students who show a mastery of the subjects in their course.
Udacity
Currently offers free courses mostly in computer science from former Stanford professors. Although my favorite is How to Build a Startup with Steve Blank. We’ve written about them here.
The Faculty Project

Academic Earth
