Your Gap Year culminates by taking your learnings and putting them to work in the real world. Whether you participate in a professional internship, a volunteer placement, a job or continue to develop your own projects, this phase gives you the opportunity to do the work that will impress employers, colleges and of course, yourself.

UnCollege has a very interesting mission to teach young people how to take control of their education. So, when Lenda needed an intern, I reached out to UnCollege. We've had 2 fellows who have worked with us and one who became full time. The work ethic, ability to follow instructions, and dependability that they've displayed has convinced me to continue to use UnCollege as a source of young talent
"To recruit and retain the best talent, employers must look beyond the four-year university. We hired a summer intern from the UnCollege program in 2013. Because of the caliber of contribution from the intern, we made a full-time offer. We will gladly consider job candidates from the UnCollege program in the future."
